    New Zealand Working Holiday Visa

Discover the incredible opportunities of a working holiday in New Zealand! This unique chance is open to young people, usually between 18 and 30 (or 18 and 35 in select countries).

Working holiday visas are only available in countries with agreements for this program with the New Zealand government. Unfortunately, you cannot apply for a working holiday visa if your country is not on the list.

The best part? You don’t need to provide evidence of a job offer! However, applicants must be “ordinarily resident” in their home country, meaning they have not been absent for more than two consecutive years prior to the application.

It’s important to note that accepting a permanent job offer is not allowed while on a New Zealand working holiday visa. Employment conditions may vary depending on the country. For information specific to your country’s working holiday visa scheme, don’t hesitate to contact us at contact@nzimmigration.info.

With a working holiday visa, you can also explore educational opportunities in New Zealand, such as studying English for up to 6 months, participating in a Study Abroad program, or enrolling in a short training course.

Remember, you must have enough funds to cover the cost of a return ticket, and your primary reason for visiting should be leisure, with work or study as secondary intentions.

Once your working holiday visa is approved, you must activate it by arriving in New Zealand within the designated timeframe, usually one year from the approval date. Please be aware that you cannot delay or cancel a granted working holiday visa. If you are unable to activate it, the visa will expire.

The New Zealand government allows Canadian participants to travel and work for up to 23 months, while those from the United Kingdom can enjoy an extended stay of up to 36 months.

Lastly, if you were previously granted a working holiday visa, you are not eligible to apply again.
